The story

- Heritage designation
- Grade II*
Rudby Hall gives this setting its name and much of its character. The present house dates from 1838 and was designed by Anthony Salvin for the 10th Viscount Falkland. The Hall's early story also includes his wife, Lady Amelia Cary, a daughter of King William IV. Historically known as Skutterskelfe Hall, it followed an earlier house called Leven Grove.
The building's sandstone exterior, Classical proportions and slate roof reflect its nineteenth-century origins. A columned porch was added and the interiors remodelled later in the century. Historic England records the Hall as Grade II*, first listed on 23 June 1966, recognising its special architectural and historic interest. Its detailed listing describes decorative plasterwork, carved oak bookcases and the Hall's staircase.

Our outlook today
Thoughtful beginnings.
Lasting relationships.
That history provides context for our outlook today. Through land, farming and development, our aim is to take a considered approach to the opportunities ahead. Rooms and cottages offer ways to spend time here, while enquiries for private and corporate bookings create opportunities for gatherings, celebrations and shared experiences. Arrangements are discussed individually, with care for each enquiry and its requirements.
Our portfolio also includes precious metals and commodities consultancy, alongside new ventures taking shape across research supply, architectural products, copper, marketing and business management. Each developing venture is clearly identified as coming soon. We value thoughtful beginnings, clear communication and relationships built over time.
